No title.
No deadline.
No boss waiting for updates.
Just me, my laptop,
and one question—
Am I making progress?
That’s where consistency becomes critical.
The discipline of progress
Some days, the work flows.
Other days, it feels like walking through fog.
But I’ve learned—
I don’t build credibility from results.
I build it from rhythm.
When I started career advising, there was no master plan.
Just a promise: show up.
One coaching, one article, one workshop at a time.
No matter the size.
No matter who’s watching.
The milestones that whispered
The first paid client call—from someone who read my articles.
The first corporate talk—sparked by a post that got barely ten likes.
The first press interview—from an voluenteering event.
The first referral for an inbound coaching query—landing quietly on a weekday morning.
None of them went viral.
But each was a nod from the universe—
proof that consistency compounds, even when no one applauds.
A week that felt like a step forward
This week, I wrapped up a of university career workshop in English—
for international graduate students finding their path in Taiwan.
One campuse.
Dozens of stories.
Similiar questions I once asked myself.
Standing in that classroom,
I realized—this wasn’t a lucky moment.
It was the accumulation of lots of small steps.
And showing up, again and again,
made them visible.
Reflection
I’ve learned that consistency is the real confidence.
Not loud.
Not fast.
But steady—
the kind that earns trust, builds clarity, and leaves a trail.
The leap doesn’t happen once.
It happens every day you choose to keep going—
deliberately, with purpose.
