Sunday night, 10pm.
You’re exhausted from a family trip. The apartment’s a mess. Housework is piling up. Your parents still need help booking doctor appointments. You haven’t even touched the urgent work waiting for you Monday morning.
But instead of tackling it, you find yourself scrolling social media—searching for one last mental escape before reality hits in eight hours.
If this feels familiar, you’re not alone.
After more than 15 years in the corporate world, I’ve lived this Sunday-night déjà vu too many times to count (except when Monday was a holiday). I often asked myself:
“Is this it?”
But the alternative? I couldn’t see it clearly.
The default path was always right there—so familiar, so safe.
Chasing the Question
Over the years, I tried everything to answer that question.
I changed companies. I changed industries. I moved across geographies.
I took a gap year. I went for an MBA.
I volunteered. I took a sabbatical.
I’m grateful for every experience and the incredible people I met along the way.
But deep down, I kept searching for that one thing—the work that felt unmistakably mine.
Now I’m Here
With a Career Development Advisor (CDA) certification, more than 10 years of volunteer coaching, and 15+ years of international leadership experience, I’ve decided to fully embrace what’s been calling me all along:
Helping others who are asking the same questions I was.
Helping you take your own Joint Leap.
Through Joint Leap, I work with mid-career professionals to navigate transitions with clarity, courage, and renewed purpose.

What to Expect From Me
Every Friday, I’ll publish one post for mid-career professionals navigating career crossroads. You’ll find:
- Strategies for managing transitions
- Lessons from real coaching stories
- Insights from leadership and life
- Ideas for designing work around life—not the other way around
Living the Leap
On a personal note: I’m finally designing the career I once only imagined.
Morning workouts. Lunch with my wife. Picking up the kids after school.
Time is the most valuable resource—and I want to spend mine intentionally.
Before You Go
Let me leave you with a question:
What are you selling your time for—and are you happy with that?
If you’re not sure—or want to rethink your answer—this blog might help.
📩 If this resonated, consider subscribing—or share it with someone who’s ready to rethink their Monday mornings.
Cheers to your—and my—Monday morning.
Thanks for reading.
